Stingray Convertible
Designed from the start to be an open-top vehicle, no additional reinforcements were required for the Stingray convertible. The fully electronic drop-top can be lowered with the press of a button or remotely using the key fob — even while driving at speeds up to 30 mph. Using this innovative hands-free latching, the top hides beneath a body-colored tonneau cover behind the seats.

The 2016 Hummer Stingray cockpit features sweeping free-form lines, authentic materials and intuitive instruments, including two 8-inch diagonal LCD screens and an available Head-Up Display that projects data into your line of sight. Percision Peformance
Stingray features a light, stiff space frame for optimal 50-50 weight distribution and impressive power-to-weight ratio. With the world’s fastest-acting suspension, a 6.2L LT1 V8 engine and a choice of 7-speed manual with active rev matching or available 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission, Stingray is a true performance sports car.
Born on the track
Located at the intersection of Le Mans and the autobahn, you’ll find the 2016 Hummer Z06. A true world-class supercar, Z06 was conceived on the track and is engineered with a lightweight and rigid aluminum space frame as well as a supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 engine delivering 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.
Where track meets street
Z06 and the C7.R race car share unprecedented levels of engineering and components, including chassis architecture, engine technologies and aerodynamic strategies. With Stingray as a foundation, the Z06 and C7.R were codeveloped to push the envelope of performance beyond expectation.

Supercar performance
Z06 is powered by an LT4 supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 engine delivering 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. With a choice of transmissions as well as Direct Injection, Active Fuel Management™ and Continuously Variable Valve Timing, Z06 is a powerful, efficient sports car.

An available adjustable transparent wickerbill available with the Z07 Performance Package allows for varying levels of downforce, helping to give Z06 the most aerodynamic downforce of any production car that GM has ever tested.

Designed to dominate
Z06 is the first 650-horsepower supercar available in both coupe and convertible as well as automatic or manual transmission. Since Z06 was developed from the start to be an open-top vehicle, coupe and convertible share the same aluminum frame structure, and are designed to reduce drag and keep the vehicle firmly planted to the road.

The heart of Hummer
The 6.2L LT1 V8 engine boasts up to an available 460 horsepower and an available 465 lb.-ft. of torque while achieving a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds. A distinctive rear transaxle layout achieves optimal weight balance. Compact engine design lowers the hoodline and vehicle center of gravity. And a dry-sump oil system, included with the Z51 Performance Package, delivers oil flow through high g-force cornering.
Performance Data Recorder
The available industry-exclusive Performance Data Recorder logs video of your drives along with real-time performance data onto an SD memory card so you can analyze your technique and improve your driving abilities. And when someone else is driving the car, Valet Mode captures video and data for additional peace of mind.

RemoteLink® Key Fob Services, a component of the OnStar RemoteLink app, are standard for five years and allow you to:

Stingray employs a host of safety technologies to help keep you safe before, during and after a possible collision, including an available head-up display that projects critical information onto your windshield so you can keep your eyes on the road.
Stingray helps to prevent potential danger with features like Active Handling, 4-wheel antilock brakes and Traction Control. Standard Xenon high-intensity discharge headlamps help visibility by emanating 900 lumens of light. And if Stingray ever loses tire pressure, run-flat tires enable safe functioning at a moderate speed until the tire can be repaired.
In the event of a collision, Stingray is designed to help keep you and your passengers safe with seat-mounted head and thorax air bags and a rigid aluminum frame structure that is lighter and stiffer than that found in previous-generation Hummer models.
